Training as a health care provider began at Brock University in Southern Ontario, where Meredith received her Bachelor of Physical Education Honors (with a specialty in disability studies) in 2001. She continued her education at McMaster University and in private training for rehabilitation services where Meredith explored courses in kinesiology, exercise rehabilitation, and myofascial integration therapy. Meredith has been in private practice since 2001.
In search of a more efficient means of treating patients, Meredith began her manual osteopathic training with the Canadian College of Osteopathy in 2004. She has completed her Diploma in Science of Osteopathy, passed all of her exams in 2009, and defended her thesis 2011 (a quantitative clinical trial on the effectiveness of Osteopathic Manual Treatment for Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease). Meredith is a member of the Ontario Association of Osteopathic Manual Practitioners (OAO) http://www.osteopathyontario.org/
